Meghan King and her former husband, Jim Edmonds, have come to a resolution concerning the custody of their three children, marking a new chapter in their post-divorce relationship.

This agreement follows recent developments where the 41-year-old former star of “Real Housewives of Orange County” temporarily lost custody of their children due to an investigation by Child Protective Services. This challenging situation has now been addressed, with both Meghan and Jim, 55, reaching a mutual decision about what’s best for their kids.

Jim’s representative, Steve Honig, confirmed the development to Us Weekly on December 8, stating, “The custody hearing has been called off, and both sides have reached an agreement that is in the best interests of the children.”

Fans of “RHOC” may remember that Meghan and Jim, who were married from 2014 until their divorce was finalized in 2021, had originally agreed to joint custody. Despite this initial arrangement, the years following their separation were fraught with tension and disputes. However, this recent agreement suggests a positive step forward for both parties and, most importantly, for the well-being of their children.

As RHOC fans will recall, Meghan, who was married to Jim from 2014 until 2019, finalized their divorce in 2021 and agreed to share custody at the time. However, in the years that followed, she and Jim experienced a world of tension.

Most recently, before Meghan was accused of giving one of their twins, seven-year-old Hayes, unprescribed Ritalin and encouraging a school nurse to do the same, she and Jim’s wife, Kortnie O’Connor, were involved in an incident at Jim and Kortnie’s home in Missouri. As reports alleged, Meghan arrived at the property to drop off a dress to her nine-year-old daughter, Aspen, but she refused to leave when Kortnie wouldn’t allow her to speak to the child and was later found inside.

Although no charges were brought against Meghan, Kortnie filed for a restraining order against her, and the women ultimately agreed to steer clear of one another, with Meghan banned from speaking of Kortnie on social media.

While Jim’s rep did not offer any specific information in regard to Meghan and Jim’s agreement, multiple sources previously told Us Weekly that a decision was made in recent weeks that gave Meghan supervised visitation and offered Jim sole physical custody.
