Renowned Nigerian artist, 2face Idibia, has reached out to his supporters, seeking their forgiveness for himself and his family amidst recent controversies involving his marriage to lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
This plea follows a wave of online reports about alleged troubles in their relationship, which have sparked widespread discussions and heated debates across social media platforms.
The speculation intensified when a private argument in their household was inadvertently broadcast during a live session, raising concerns about the couple’s safety and emotional state.
In response, during a live concert over the weekend, 2face took a moment to address the audience directly, saying:
“Please, don’t be angry anymore. Forgive me and my family.”
The African Queen crooner also expressed concern for his wife, Natasha, who he said had reportedly been receiving threats because of the controversy.
Reactions from fans have continued to flood social platforms. Some supporters defended 2Baba, noting that public figures deserve privacy just like anyone else. Others questioned why intimate moments of the couple’s life ended up online in the first place.
Despite the storm, 2Baba appeared calm and focused during his performance, using the moment to reconnect with fans and remind them that personal struggles should be handled with empathy.
One user wrote, “This man is human. Give him space and let them handle their marriage.” Another added, “2Baba is showing maturity by addressing fans directly.”
His call for understanding and forgiveness highlights the need for respect, empathy, and responsible discourse, both online and offline.
