This unexpected disclosure about the private first son has reportedly angered Melania, who believes Knechtle breached their family’s privacy. “Melania has always valued discretion,” a White House source allegedly told gossip columnist Rob Shuter (via Substack). “To her, this is a betrayal,” the insider shared. The typically composed former first lady reportedly reacted with uncharacteristic anger, as another source told Shuter, “Melania was furious when she found out. This wasn’t just disappointment — it was rage.”

According to Rob Shuter, Melania is addressing this breach of trust with a new level of vigilance. “Melania’s team is reinforcing the importance of confidentiality,” another source revealed to Shuter (via Substack). “Those around the family are aware that leaks are unacceptable.” The source added, “While Barron’s interaction might have been innocent, the breach of trust was severe.” It remains unclear who facilitated the call between Barron and the pastor or if Melania’s protective stance will limit future interactions.
