Jelly Roll recently opened up emotionally about the struggles he faced in his intimate life with his wife, Alyssa ‘Bunnie Xo’ DeFord, before embarking on a transformative weight loss journey that saw him lose an astonishing 200 pounds over three years.

The 41-year-old singer-rapper (born Jason Bradley DeFord) once topped the scales at 550lbs

‘You know how much that my sex life with my wife was horrible?’ Jelly Roll confessed on The Joe Rogan Experience Wednesday.

“I married a stunning, blonde bombshell with an incredible presence,” Jelly Roll remarked, reflecting on his relationship with Alyssa. “She’s the kind of woman who can bring a smile to your face even in the toughest moments.”

The acclaimed artist, who has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, candidly shared that his size had a significant impact on his ability to be intimate. “I couldn’t even get aroused because of how big I was,” he admitted.

He humorously described the challenges he faced, saying, “It felt like playing a game of Twister just to be intimate. It was a struggle to find the right positions—’Left foot here, right foot in the X.’ It was a real challenge, to say the least.”

‘Left foot here, right foot in the X. You know, are we are we in there yet? Tell me if you feel something. I mean, it was bad.’

The Nashville native and the 45-year-old escort-turned-podcaster – whom he began dating in 2016 – are still on an IVF fertility journey.

Jelly Roll celebrated his birthday last Thursday by going on a run with his bowhunting buddy Cameron Hanes.

‘I used to drink and do cocaine on my birthday. I used to codeine and pills on my birthday,’ the heavily-tattooed ex-convict marveled of his checkered past.

‘Me and Cam Haines getting these miles in, baby. That’s what God can do for you in a couple years, baby. That’s what God can do.’

Jelly Roll reportedly jogs two to three miles a day, four to six days a week, plus 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge and he hired nutritionist Chef Ian Larios to prepare his high-protein meals.

One year ago, the Holy Water singer claimed on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast to have transformed his 6ft1in body without the use of a trendy GLP-1 agonist drug because he was ‘afraid’ of the acid reflux side effect.

‘As a singer, few things scare me more than acid reflux. Like, you’ll watch me get up out of a bed, I’ll burp and wake up panicked and go take something for it. You know? Because that stuff will just rip the vocal cords,’ Jelly Roll explained.

‘I wanna be on the cover of Men’s Health by March of 2026. I wanna have one of the biggest transformations. I did this publicly for a reason.’

Jelly Roll confessed on The Joe Rogan Experience Wednesday: 'You know how much that my sex life with my wife was horrible? Dude, I married a f***ing big titty blonde beautiful woman, dawg. You know what I mean?'
