Jacquan Wilson (Platte County Jail).
Jacquan Wilson, aged 37, is accused of crimes including sex trafficking, promoting prostitution, domestic assault, and child endangerment. He was apprehended by the Kansas City Police Department on September 27, with charges formally presented shortly thereafter. A probable cause affidavit, accessed by KCTV, a local CBS affiliate, reveals that the victim initially connected with Wilson through Facebook earlier that month.
Subsequently, they relocated to an extended-stay motel, residing there for approximately three weeks. During this period, Wilson is accused of coordinating multiple daily sexual encounters for her with different men. The victim reported to authorities that Wilson’s behavior turned violent around September 23, as he allegedly subjected her to repeated physical abuse, including punching, kicking, and strangling her to the point of unconsciousness, according to the affidavit.
Moreover, Wilson is accused of threatening her by brandishing a knife at her one-year-old son during a FaceTime call.
In addition, Wilson allegedly held a knife to her 1-year-old son’s throat while on FaceTime.
The woman also reportedly told authorities that Wilson forced her to continue to have sex with men even after she learned she had a miscarriage.
On Sept. 26, the woman used ChatGPT to create a fake email that said she needed to return a rental car at Kansas City International Airport, the affidavit said. Once there, she contacted police and family who came to her rescue.
The victim was reportedly suffering from several injuries and “appeared emotionally distressed and defeated during the entire interview” with investigators.
Wilson remains in the Platte County Jail without bond.
