ATHENS, Ga. () — Two freshman athletes from the Georgia Bulldogs were detained and processed at the Athens-Clarke County Jail on Friday, facing allegations of shoplifting.
Dontrell Glover, an offensive lineman, and Bo Walker, a running back, were taken into custody Friday evening. According to an online booking report, they awaited release pending bonds set at $1,500 each.
The report indicated that both athletes were charged with two misdemeanors. Subsequently, they secured their release by posting bonds of $1,500, along with an additional $26 for each offense.
Glover has had a standout season, earning a spot on the Coaches Freshman All-SEC team and participating in all 13 of Georgia’s games to date.
Walker has appeared in six games throughout the season, showcasing his skills most notably against Charlotte, where he achieved three touchdowns and accumulated 48 yards.
