Meghan King has made her way back to Instagram following the loss of custody of her three children to her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds. She took the opportunity to share a heartfelt message with her audience.
Meanwhile, her former Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Kelly Dodd, 50, expressed her displeasure over the situation, calling Jim, 55, a “dick” in a social media comment. In what seemed like a response to the challenging news regarding her children, Meghan, 41, shared an insightful post. Her kids include eight-year-old Aspen and seven-year-old twins Hart and Hayes.
“This morning, the universe reminded me that perhaps I don’t need to hide the cracks. Maybe I can fill them with color and purpose instead,” Meghan wrote in her Instagram post on December 12. The photo accompanying her message showed an aerial view of cracked concrete adorned with vibrant pieces of stone or glass.

Just a day before, Us Weekly reported that Meghan and Jim had finalized a custody arrangement. This agreement allows Meghan to spend “a few weeks” each summer with her children, who will otherwise reside full-time with Jim and his wife, Kortnie O’Connor, in Tennessee. The couple recently invested in a $4 million home there.
Also on Instagram, in the comments section of a post shared by Page Six in regard to the custody news, Kelly shared her thoughts, writing, “He’s a d*ck.”

As RHOC fans will recall, Kelly previously defended Meghan on TikTok.
“I can tell you, she loves those babies. She loves those kids, and I know for a fact she is a good mother. She is an excellent mother, and I just pray that she gets her babies back,” Kelly told her fans and followers. “Everyone just pray for Meghan and her family. Those boys and that daughter need their mom. They need their mother, and it’s terrible.”
“It’s terrible what is going on right now. All we can do is just pray for Meghan,” she added.
Meghan’s custody loss came after the former reality star was targeted with a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation after she reportedly gave her son Hayes unprescribed Ritalin and asked his school to do the same.
