Lincoln Fire Protection District recovers car from pond

Early Friday morning, the Lincoln Fire Protection District dive team sprang into action in Coles County, Illinois, after receiving a call about a vehicle submerged in a pond.

According to a Facebook update shared by Lincoln Fire on Saturday afternoon, the dive team volunteers were alerted at 5:25 a.m. to investigate the situation. As the morning progressed, team members ventured into the water to pinpoint the car’s location.
