Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is set to tie the knot with her partner, White House reporter Brian Glenn.
Glenn posted a picture of the couple at a restaurant Monday evening, with the caption: ‘She said “yes.”‘
The 51-year-old congresswoman from Georgia was seen flaunting a sizable engagement ring, which she played a role in designing.
Glenn shared with the Daily Mail that the engagement took place at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, a venue with a connection to President Donald Trump, as he dined there during his sole visit to a D.C. eatery this year.
He detailed the moment in a text, saying, “I made sure to reserve our usual spot in the back, complete with a curtain for privacy. Once our drinks arrived, I surprised her with the proposal, and she accepted. We’re thrilled and have already shared the happy news with our families.”
Interestingly, the server attending to them was the same one who had the opportunity to serve President Trump during his visit to the prominent seafood establishment, situated just a couple of blocks from the White House.
The engagement comes as Greene has been involved in a high-profile political break-up with Trump over the release of the Epstein files, among other things.
‘I’m sweeping her off her feet, getting her out of Washington,’ Glenn told the Daily Mail.

Glenn still supports the president but will split his time between Washington and Georgia to be with the retiring congresswoman.
He’ll continue to report for the conservative Real America’s Voice, but from a home studio when he’s in Georgia, and from the White House when he’s in D.C., and will also cover Trump on the road as he campaigns for Republicans in next year’s midterms.
Greene announced late last month that she would leave the House of Representatives on January 5 after her falling out with Trump meant that he planned to back a Republican primary challenger against her next year.
Since she and Glenn had fallen in love over their shared support for the president, the Washington Post had a recent story headlined: ‘Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend has had a weird month.’
‘I’m like the little divorced kid in the middle!’ Glenn had told the Post’s reporter.
At the same time, he made it clear which individual he would side with.
‘Well, I gotta go with “Mom” here,’ Glenn told the newspaper.
Glenn originally saw Greene in 2022 at a Trump rally, with the reporter recalling to the paper that the Georgia lawmaker was ‘like, mystical – like a unicorn or something like that, you know?’
Greene was already a well-known member of Congress by this point, having been elected as a die-hard Trump fan in 2020, taking office in January 2021.

They met at an event later in 2022 and started publicly dating in 2023 after they both filed for divorce from their respective spouses.
‘This is something we’ve been talking about for a while,’ Glenn said of getting engaged.
At Joe’s, MTG ordered a Cosmopolitan made with Tito’s vodka and had the Chilean seabass, while Glenn enjoyed an Old Fashioned made with Four Roses Bourbon.
A mix of White House journalists and MAGA insiders, including Trump official Kari Lake, were quick to wish the couple congratulations.
‘I look forward to this new chapter in both our lives,’ Glenn said.
They have yet to set a wedding date, he added.
