SAVANNAH, Ga. — A substantial reward of $10,000 is being offered by a local restaurant group in Savannah for any tips that lead to the capture and conviction of the individual responsible for a recent acid attack near Forsyth Park.

Sasha Nasrabadi, the event director at Southern Cross Hospitality, expressed to News 3 that their primary aim is to remove this dangerous individual from the streets of Savannah.

The incident involved Ashley Wasielewski, who was assaulted with a corrosive substance while walking near Whitaker and West Waldburg Street. After the attack, the assailant quickly fled, and Wasielewski required medical attention at the Augusta Burn Center. As of now, authorities have not been able to identify or apprehend the suspect.

Located just a short distance from where the attack occurred is The Collins Quarter at Forsyth Park, one of the venues under Southern Cross Hospitality. Nasrabadi highlighted that the incident has deeply impacted their team, and they are hopeful that someone will provide crucial information.
