Over the weekend, Meghan King was seen enjoying quality time with her three children, despite recent reports suggesting that they were set to move to Tennessee to live with her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, and his wife, Kortnie O’Connor, on a full-time basis.

In light of the news regarding the 41-year-old former star of “Real Housewives of Orange County” losing custody, it was initially stated that Meghan would only have her kids for a “few weeks” each summer. This raises the question: how was she able to spend time with them recently, given that Jim was reportedly awarded full custody?

A source shared with Us Weekly on December 16 that, “Jim and Meghan can mutually agree that she can be with the kids.” The source further elaborated that while Jim may have full custody on paper, “it’s not necessarily sustainable,” indicating that the children spend a considerable amount of time with Meghan.

Additionally, another insider confirmed that while their daughter, Aspen, age nine, and twin sons, Hayes and Hart, age seven, had not yet made the full-time move to Tennessee, it was anticipated that this transition would occur in the near future.

Another source clarified that the children, including nine-year-old daughter Aspen and seven-year-old twin sons Hayes and Hart, hadn’t yet moved to Tennessee full-time, but that they would be doing so in the coming days.

“They will be with Meghan for a few days around Christmas per their agreement,” the second insider explained. “The reason Meghan has been seen with the kids lately is that Jim was being nice and let her see them before the permanent move.”

In addition to allowing Meghan to take their children to a holiday mart over the weekend, Jim reportedly allowed Meghan to care for them overnight as well.

As RHOC fans will recall, Meghan was said to have temporarily lost custody of her three kids after allegedly giving Hayes unprescribed Ritalin and asking his school staff to do so as well. Following an investigation by Child Protective Services (CPS), Jim was given full custody, and she was allowed supervised visitation.

Although the former couple was due in court earlier this month, they were said to have made an agreement prior to the scheduled hearing.

Following the sharing of the custody news, Meghan posted an odd message on her Instagram Story in which she thanked the universe.

“This morning the universe reminded me that maybe I don’t need to disguise the cracks, maybe instead I can fill them with color and purpose,” Meghan wrote in the caption of a December 12 post.
