Jenelle Evans, known for her role on Teen Mom, has opted for a “mommy makeover” in anticipation of her 34th birthday. Her decision to undergo this transformation was revealed to her followers on Instagram, where she expressed her excitement and relief about sharing this personal journey. “I’ve been keeping a little secret 👀✨ It feels so good to finally share this with you guys!” she announced, alongside images of herself in an underwear set after the procedure.
Evans, now 33, explained that despite her efforts through three pregnancies, regular workouts, and a clean diet, her body required additional assistance. She specifically pointed out her struggle with diastasis recti, a condition that many mothers face post-pregnancy, commonly known as a “mom pouch.” “No amount of exercise fixes this,” she stated candidly.
Taking matters into her own hands, Evans consulted Dr. Rachel Mason in Las Vegas and opted for a comprehensive makeover. This included replacing her “old implants” with new “400cc silicone implants” and undergoing a “tummy tuck” to repair her abdominal muscles.
Reflecting on her decision, Evans shared, “I’ve had my body judged since I was a teenager, so choosing this was about feeling like myself again and not explaining it to anyone else.” As she continues to recover, she expressed feeling “confident, happy, and really excited about this new chapter.” Looking forward to her 34th birthday, she added, “I’m proud to welcome a new year loving the skin I’m in. 🥰🎂✨.”
In a subsequent post, Evans shared that she got a tummy tuck, liposuction and diastasis recti repairment. She also included a before and after video of her procedure results.
Evans rose to fame after appearing on 16 and Pregnant in 2010. After welcoming son Jace with ex Andrew Lewis, she went on to star on the spinoff series Teen Mom 2 from 2011 to 2019.
During her time on the show, Evans struggled with substance abuse, while Lewis was not involved in Jace’s life. The reality star ultimately signed over custody of Jace to her mom, Barbara Evans.
In 2014, Jenelle welcomed son Kaiser with then-boyfriend Nathan Griffith. Following her 2015 split from Griffith, Jenelle moved on with David Eason. Jenelle and Eason welcomed daughter Ensley in January 2017 before tying the knot later that year.
In March 2024, Jenelle filed for a separation from Eason after six years of marriage.
“His attitude that he had, putting everyone in a bad mood all the time,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in June about her decision to end her marriage. “Everyone was walking on eggshells and I’m like, I don’t have to live like this, and I don’t have to stay together just because we have kids.”
Earlier this year, a judge agreed to grant Jenelle’s motion for an “absolute divorce” between her and Eason.
“Now I can breathe 👏🏻🎉,” she wrote via Instagram when their split became official. “Went through our assets and came to a settlement, ladies please don’t ever put anything in anyone else’s name but your own. The battle is over! 😭🙈 #LessonLearned #Divorced.”
In August, Jenelle revealed to Us Weekly exclusively that her and Eason’s assets were divided evenly despite her being the main earner.
“Unfortunately, North Carolina is a 50/50 state and even though I paid for the majority of our assets, they had to be divided regardless,” she explained. “I don’t think a lot of people put that into perspective when getting married, and they definitely should. Prenups should be more accepted into society in my opinion.”
