Steven Tyler, 77, and girlfriend Aimee Preston, 38, hit by split speculation after 11 years of dating

Speculation is swirling around Steven Tyler and Aimee Preston as rumors suggest that the couple may have ended their relationship after 11 years together.

TMZ initially reported on Friday, citing multiple insiders, that the duo, who started dating in 2014, had parted ways for reasons not yet disclosed.

Contradicting those claims, sources reportedly close to the Aerosmith legend and Preston later clarified that the couple remains together and are doing well.

When approached for comment, Tyler’s representative directed Page Six to TMZ’s revised report, while Preston has yet to respond to their inquiry.

The relationship between Tyler, now 77, and Preston, 38, began in 2014, two years after she joined his team as a personal assistant in 2012. Notably, Preston is 10 years younger than Tyler’s daughter, Liv Tyler, who is 38 and shares her lineage with Tyler’s former partner, Bebe Buell.

The Grammy winner also shares daughter Mia Tyler, 46, with first wife, Cynthia Foxe, to whom he was married from 1978 to 1987.

The “Crazy” singer tied the knot with his second wife, Teresa Barrick, in 1988, and the rocker shares daughter Chelsea Anna Tallarico, 36, and son Taj Monroe Tallarico, 34, with her.

Following Tyler’s divorce from Barrick in 2006, he briefly became engaged to Erin Brady before calling it off in 2013.

Preston and the “Love in an Elevator” hitmaker made their public debut with a PDA-packed appearance at Elton John’s annual Oscars party in 2016.

They’ve since been spotted together at a number of Hollywood events.

In February 2024, they nuzzled and kissed on the red carpet at Tyler’s Jam for Janie Grammy viewing party at the Hollywood Palladium.

Tyler’s relationship with Preston weathered a 2022 accusation that he sexually assaulted a then-16-year-old Julia Holcomb (now Misley) in 1973 and subsequently made her obtain an abortion.

In legal documents, he vehemently denied the allegation and said the relationship was consensual. Holcomb’s case is set to go to trial in 2026, per Billboard.

He was again sued in 2023 by Jeanne Bellino, who claimed Tyler sexually assaulted her in 1975 when she was 17 — a claim the rock icon also denied. The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice in 2024.

News of Tyler’s split from Preston comes over a year after Aerosmith announced that they will no longer be touring due to the lead singer’s vocal injuries.

“Sadly, it is clear, that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision – as a band of brothers – to retire from the touring stage,” they wrote in April 2024.
