Driver hospitalized after train vs. dump truck crash in Teutopolis

TEUTOPOLIS, Ill. (WCIA) — A dump truck driver found himself hospitalized after a collision with a train in Teutopolis on Friday afternoon.

According to the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office crash report, the incident occurred while the truck, driven by a 58-year-old Mattoon resident, was heading south on private land located in the 15000 block of East State Highway 33.
