Dr. Charles Apoki, a well-known Nigerian clergyman and international conference speaker across various denominations, has once again turned his attention to the marriage of Pastor Chris Okafor, particularly discussing his new wife, Pearl, in his latest video.
In a video shared on his Facebook page, Dr. Apoki responded to Pearl’s remarks about her hopes of starting a family with Okafor. He cautioned her against expecting any significant change in her husband’s behavior.
The Christian leader made bold claims, accusing Okafor of being deeply entrenched in ‘copulation and immorality,’ citing reports of his alleged promiscuity from around the globe.
Apoki suggested that Pearl would face the formidable task of balancing the public image of her marriage with the private challenges posed by a husband with a reputedly wandering eye.
He expressed his sentiments clearly, stating, “I understand you have dreams of raising children who take after him in stature. However, Chris Okafor is unlikely to change. Reports from the United States, Cameroon, and worldwide indicate his addiction to copulation and immorality. You will have to navigate the difficult waters of maintaining a positive public image while dealing with the reality of a promiscuous husband at home.”
He added in the caption of the video, “An advice for Pearl, Dr. Chris Okafor’s new wife: The reality of promiscuity.”
Recall that Dr. Charles Apoki had previously criticised Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, expressing deep disappointment with his involvement in Chris Okafor’s wedding with Pearl.
Apoki questioned the moral implications of officiating at the wedding amid unresolved allegations.
