Jimmy Fowlie, a writer for “Saturday Night Live,” is reaching out for assistance in locating his sister, Christina Lynn Downer, who has gone missing.
On Monday, the comedian made an emotional appeal on Instagram, urging anyone with details about her disappearance to contact the authorities in Los Angeles, the area where she was last known to be.
“We are deeply concerned for my sister’s safety as she remains missing,” Fowlie expressed, accompanying his message with her missing person flyer.
He added, “Although her married name is Downer, she might be using Christina Fowlie. Please help spread the word so that anyone with information can reach out to the police. The contact number is 213-996-1800, and her case number is 25237639. She was last seen in Los Angeles. We appreciate your help.”
According to the missing person flyer, Christina was last in touch with family in November.
Along with the poster, Fowlie also included several solo shots of his sister as well as snaps of her with him and their family.
Fellow “SNL” cast members Bowen Yang and Sarah Sherman were among some of the celebrities who reposted Fowlie’s desperate request for assistance.
The stars were joined by the many celebrities who flooded Fowlie’s Instagram comments with words of support during this difficult time.
“Hacks” star Hannah Einbinder sent her love with several red heart emojis, while “Happy Endings” star Casey Wilson added, “Posting now I’m so sorry.”
Meanwhile, former “Vanderpump Rules” cast member Scheana Shay shared that she would also repost the missing person report.
Fowlie has been a writer on “SNL” since 2022. He co-wrote the viral “Domingo” sketch starring Marcello Hernandez and Ariana Grande last year.
Prior to landing his job at “SNL”, he was a member of the Groundlings improv and sketch comedy group.
As for his acting credits, Fowlie has appeared in shows like “Search Party,” “English Teacher,” “2 Broke Girls” and more.
