In a bold move, President Donald Trump announced that the United States had carried out airstrikes in northwest Nigeria on Christmas night. These strikes targeted ISIS militants, whom Trump accused of perpetrating violence against Christians in the region. The President described the operation as decisive and issued a stern warning that further military action would follow if the violence against Christians persisted.

Highlighting the gravity of the situation, Trump took to Truth Social to declare, “Tonight, under my direction as Commander in Chief, the United States launched a powerful and deadly strike against ISIS Terrorist Scum in Northwest Nigeria. These militants have been targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians, at alarming levels not seen for many years, perhaps even centuries.” Trump emphasized that he had previously warned these terrorists of severe consequences if they continued their attacks on Christians, and the airstrikes were a testament to that warning.

The President praised the execution of the operation, stating, “The Department of War executed numerous perfect strikes, showcasing the unmatched capabilities of the United States.” He reaffirmed his commitment to combating radical Islamic terrorism, emphasizing that under his leadership, the U.S. would not allow such threats to thrive.

Concluding his announcement with a patriotic sentiment, Trump expressed, “May God Bless our Military, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, including the deceased terrorists, of which there will be many more if their slaughter of Christians continues.” His message underscored a firm stance against terrorism and a call for continued vigilance in protecting vulnerable communities worldwide.

“Under my leadership, our Country will not allow Radical Islamic Terrorism to prosper,” he continued. “May God Bless our Military, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, including the dead Terrorists, of which there will be many more if their slaughter of Christians continues.”
