Crime Stoppers seeking tips related to Carter’s Fish Market arson in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — Springfield’s Crime Stoppers are requesting the public’s assistance in resolving an arson case involving the Springfield Fire Department. The incident unfolded on December 21st, at approximately 1 a.m., at Carter’s Fish Market.

Security footage reveals a suspect approaching a shed located in front of the market. The individual is seen dousing the structure with a liquid, igniting it, and then departing the scene.
