A troubling incident unfolded in Beaufort County, South Carolina, that has led to the arrest of a young man in connection with a stabbing involving a minor. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office promptly responded to the call, which reported a stabbing at the Target parking lot in Bluffton.
The event occurred around 6 p.m. on Saturday when deputies arrived at the scene to discover a 17-year-old male suffering from a stab wound. The investigation revealed that the incident originated from a confrontation between the injured teen and another juvenile. During this altercation, a third individual allegedly intervened, wielding a sharp object and inflicting the injury before fleeing the scene.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment following the attack. As the investigation progressed, authorities from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office successfully identified the alleged assailant as 19-year-old Ramiro Arcos-Romero. By Sunday, Arcos-Romero was taken into custody and faces serious charges, including attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
The 17-year-old was transported to a hospital due to his injuries.
Authorities from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) later identified Ramiro Arcos-Romero, 19, as the stabbing suspect. He was arrested on Sunday and charged by BCSO with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
