A man has been charged for his alleged role in a conspiracy to commit a public place shooting in Sydney.
It comes after tactical police swarmed a house on Isis Street in Fairfield West yesterday morning.

Authorities reportedly discovered narcotics and a cellphone, as several individuals left the premises following police orders.

Officers announced, “We have your house surrounded.”

They instructed, “Proceed to the front door with empty hands and comply with our directives.”

It appears that none of those who emerged from the residence were the intended subjects of the investigation.

Later, at approximately 6 p.m., a separate operation was conducted at a residence on Kent Street in Greenacre, where another cellphone was recovered.

Police have confirmed the operation is not related to the Bondi terror attack.

This led to police returning to the Isis Street house, where they arrested a 24-year-old man.

It is believed he was not at the home at the time of the first search.

He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station and charged with multiple offences.

The charges include recruiting others to assist in carrying out illegal activities, participating in a criminal group and contributing to a criminal activity, and knowingly directing the activities of a criminal group.

There was a heavy police presence in the street.
The man was refused bail. (Nine)
Police have confirmed the raid was not related to the Bondi terror attack, or to Operation Shelter, the task force cracking down on antisemitism.

Investigations are still ongoing.

The man was refused bail, and will appear in court today.
