The View enthusiasts may have found themselves missing the familiar faces of their favorite hosts last week as the show took a brief hiatus for the holiday season. However, fans can look forward to the return of Whoopi Goldberg and her co-hosts with fresh episodes in the near future.
The most recent live appearance of the ladies saw Joy Behar having a humorous moment with Kumail Nanjiani by admiring his bicep during the December 19th broadcast.
“Would you like me to flex, Joy?” Nanjiani teased, allowing her to feel his shoulder. His playful flexing prompted Joy to respond with an enthusiastic, “Whoa, baby!”
In the meantime, viewers were treated to some of the show’s memorable past episodes, featuring engaging conversations with guests like Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephen A. Smith, Leslie Jones, and John Quiñones.
Although new episodes of The View are on the horizon, the show will continue to air a selection of reruns throughout this week, leading up to New Year’s Day.

It remains to be seen when The View will return with new episodes. But they will likely be back from their holiday break Monday, Jan. 5.
