In Sydney’s western suburb of Greenacre, over 30 firefighters are currently battling a blaze at a timber flooring factory. The emergency services were alerted to the situation on Claremont Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. today.

Authorities have established an exclusion zone around the area, advising motorists to steer clear to ensure safety and facilitate emergency operations.

Fire and Rescue NSW spokesperson Adam Dewberry reported that, fortunately, no injuries have been reported thus far. However, he cautioned that there remains a risk of the fire spreading further.
