Audrey Nuna, EJAE, and Rei Ami lend their voices to the characters Mira, Rumi, and Zoey, respectively, in a dynamic blend of acting and singing for the film. Given that four tracks from HUNTR/X have stormed the Billboard Hot 100, it’s clear that the film features some formidable vocal talent behind its infectious tunes.
Rumi’s powerful singing is brought to life by EJAE, a multifaceted artist known for her work with major K-pop groups such as Red Velvet, Twice, Aespa, and NMIXX. EJAE co-wrote multiple tracks for the film, including the chart-topping “Golden” and “Your Idol.” Her impressive demos led the directors to choose her as Rumi’s singing voice.
Mira’s vocals are provided by Audrey Nuna, a singer and rapper from New Jersey who joined forces with Arista Records in 2019. Audrey has gained popularity with her hit singles “Damn Right” and “Comic Sans,” which features Jack Harlow.
For Zoey, Rei Ami delivers both vocals and rap. Originally from South Korea, Rei Ami moved to Maryland at the age of six. She gained widespread acclaim with her single “Freak,” a collaboration with Sub Urban, which has amassed over 298 million views on YouTube.
