Since the announcement of her pregnancy, many fans have openly questioned her choice of partner. In a candid move, the rapper addressed these concerns head-on via social media, confronting the negativity surrounding their union.
“Y’all need to calm down,” she said in a video on X (formerly Twitter). “Is y’all cool? Y’all been dragging me for three or four days and y’all been a little bit too mean. Like alright now. Y’all being a little bit too mean.”
Cardi B didn’t hold back in expressing her stance. She highlighted the permanence of her situation, emphasizing that she cannot undo the past or the fact that she shares a child with Diggs. “I can’t change anything,” she remarked, adding a touch of humor to her frustration by rhetorically asking, “Y’all want me to put my baby back in my belly? Huh? I don’t know what y’all want me to do. Y’all want me to leave my man and be with yours?”
Ultimately, Cardi B conveyed a message of resilience and forward-thinking to her fans, affirming that her only option is to “move forward” from here. Her response underscores a commitment to her current life path, regardless of public opinion.

Cardi’s response did not do much to slow down fan hate. Many people doubled down on expressing their dislike of the relationship.

People added that the two options Cardi presented in the video were not the only ones available to her.
