A woman has been charged over a shooting where more than 30 rounds were fired into a home which had children inside in Sydney earlier this year.

In the early hours of May 9, at around 1:15 am, law enforcement officers responded to an incident on Frank Street in Mount Druitt.

Reports indicated that a gunman, driving a dark-colored hatchback, fired over 30 bullets into a residence occupied by a family.

Despite the presence of seven adults and four young children inside the house, miraculously, no one sustained injuries.

Earlier this month, authorities apprehended and charged two individuals, who are currently facing legal proceedings.

Following thorough investigations and a public appeal for assistance, police carried out a search warrant at a Mount Druitt home around 6 am yesterday.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested and charged with firing a gun at a home, taking part in a criminal group, and possessing an unregistered firearm.

She was refused bail and will appear in court today.
