Firefighters rushed to the scene on Rio Del Mar Drive, where they encountered flames aggressively tearing through the roof of the house.

According to the New Smyrna Beach Fire Department, the inferno was primarily restricted to the northern section of the property, preventing further spread.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation as officials work to determine what sparked the flames.

An investigation is ongoing.
