RCSO asking again for information on Martin Gordon's murder

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is once again reaching out to the community for assistance regarding the tragic stabbing of Martin Gordon, a 30-year-old student at Helms College, which occurred on October 13, 2025.

Authorities have reported that Martin Gordon was fatally attacked in the parking lot adjacent to Helms College, located at 3145 Washington Road.

The individual suspected of the crime was seen wearing an all-black outfit and was observed fleeing the scene shortly after the incident.

Anyone with information that could aid the investigation is encouraged to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1020. Tips can also be submitted via the MySheriff app or by scanning the QR code provided below.

Submissions can be made anonymously to ensure the privacy of those providing information.

Gordon was attending the school to become an HVAC technician. He was a father to two young children, leaving behind an 8-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son.
