Israeli Billionaire Calls to Limit the First Amendment

Foreign tech mogul Shlomo Kramer declared it’s ‘time to limit the First Amendment’ and called for the U.S. government to control social media and rank citizens based on their speech.

In a recent televised appearance, Israeli billionaire Shlomo Kramer, renowned for his contributions to cybersecurity, stirred controversy by suggesting that the United States should compromise its revered freedom of speech. Speaking on CNBC, Kramer emphasized the need for America to reconsider its commitment to the First Amendment in order to reduce societal polarization and stay competitive with authoritarian regimes. His remarks, advocating for the limitation of what many consider a fundamental American right, have ignited a debate about the influence of foreign perspectives on U.S. constitutional values.

Kramer, who holds no allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, argued that America’s adherence to free expression places it at a disadvantage compared to countries like China, which maintain a “single narrative” to ensure internal stability. In his view, the time has come to “limit the First Amendment in order to protect it,” urging swift action to prevent further erosion of societal cohesion. This perspective highlights a significant clash between foreign viewpoints and America’s foundational principles, where freedom of speech is seen not as a sacred right but as a barrier to global information control.

Defending American Sovereignty

In addition to his call for limits, Kramer detailed a dystopian plan for government-run AI censorship. Under this model, the government would monitor, rank, and control American citizens based on their online speech. When asked to elaborate, Kramer stated, “we need to control the platforms all the social platforms we need to stack rank the authenticity of every person that expresses themselves online and take control over what they are saying based on that ranking… The government should control the social media.”

Ultimately, the “America First” standard demands an absolute rejection of foreign nationals dictating changes to the U.S. Constitution. Kramer’s vision is one where technology is used not to empower individuals, but to “stabilize the political system” through top-down control. Upholding the First Amendment in its entirety is non-negotiable, as it is the bedrock of our republic and the only true defense against the tyranny that globalist elites are promoting.
