Delta issues travel waiver amid tension in the Caribbean

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — In response to a military operation in Venezuela that led to numerous flight cancellations, Delta Airlines has announced a travel waiver for certain Caribbean airports.

The temporary closure of airspace has prompted Delta to offer waivers for passengers traveling to, from, or through multiple Caribbean locations from January 3 to 6. The airline encourages travelers to keep an eye on their flight schedules for any updates.
