Hayley Erbert is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first child with her husband, Derek Hough.

The 31-year-old soon-to-be mom shared her excitement and celebrated her pregnancy journey with a series of stunning maternity photos on Instagram, posted on Tuesday, December 30. “This pregnancy ♥️ Forever in awe of my body!” she exclaimed, highlighting her appreciation for her body’s changes.

One of the images in the top left of her polaroid collection captures Erbert at the start of her pregnancy journey, showcasing a flat stomach. In each photo, she dons jeans and a sports bra, visually marking the milestones of her first and second trimesters. With pride, Erbert gently held her belly, smiling warmly at the camera as her pregnancy progressed.

In the subsequent slide, Erbert shared two more candid shots, embracing a humorous side of her experience. “The last frame is me feeling VERY pregnant 🤣,” she humorously captioned the images.

The series concluded with a touching photo of Hough, 40, lovingly cradling her belly as they shared a tender kiss, capturing the couple’s anticipation and joy.

Her sister-in-law, Julianne Hough, was among the commenters, sweetly writing, “You are magic ✨.”

Fans are speculating the couple’s baby may have already arrived and they are potentially soaking up the special moments before sharing the news.

“I keep checking back for updates and there has been NOTHING for the last two days. Crossing my fingers that baby Hough is already here and we all can’t wait to see the photos!! 🩷💙🩷💙,” one social media user wrote.

“I think baby’s here by now they were quiet for 2 days,” another added. “I agree. I think this is the preview of pregnancy photos before announcement of baby Hough. ❤️,” a third resounded.

Prior to her post, Erbert spoke out about the couple’s plans when it came to parenting.

“The best piece of advice that I’ve gotten is not to listen to anybody’s advice,” she told E! News in an interview published on December 11. “Because you will get so many people trying to give advice and then you’re just gonna be like, that doesn’t work for my child.”

There is one suggestion that Hough is going to follow, she noted. “The best piece of advice that Derek got was, if he’s able to and he’s willing to, ‘Catch the baby,’” Erbert added. “‘To be the first hands to catch your baby earth-side is the most special thing ever.’ And he would be the hands that bring the baby to me.”

While awaiting their little one’s arrival, Erbert said they were in full nesting mode and getting their home ready to go for the baby.

The couple announced that she is expecting in July, following which she reflected on everything she has overcome.

“Two years ago today, I was given a second chance at life through life-saving brain surgery,” Erbert wrote via Instagram on December 3. “In these two years, I’ve gone through every human emotion imaginable, the kind that cracks you open and the kind that puts you back together.”
