OJ SIMPSON SPINNING IN HELL: FORCED TO PAY $58M TO MURDER VICTIMS

A lawyer based in California has alleged that OJ Simpson left an unpaid legal bill exceeding $1.1 million prior to his death in 2024.

Attorney Ronald Slates initiated legal proceedings on Friday against Malcolm LaVergne, the executor of Simpson’s estate. As reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Slates had acted as Simpson’s legal representative on multiple occasions since 2006.

The extensive legal fees, amounting to $1,147,373, were never settled, according to the detailed 56-page complaint penned by Slates’ attorney, Michael Pruitt.

This lawsuit emerged in the wake of an agreement earlier this year, where LaVergne consented to a significant payment of nearly $58 million to Fred Goldman, Ron Goldman’s father, nearly three decades after a civil suit against Simpson.

According to CrimeOnline, the infamous murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson, OJ’s ex-wife, occurred on June 12, 1994, outside her Los Angeles home. A subsequent trial concluded on October 3, 1995, with a jury acquitting Simpson of the charges.

In 1997, a California judge found Simpson liable for the deaths of Ron and Nicole’s death, following the civil suit.

Pruitt stated that Slates had represented Simpson on various legal matters, with the assumption that the fees would be paid.

The majority of the legal fees have never been paid, according to the lawsuit. In November, LaVergne allegedly rejected the claim.

On Friday, LaVergne told the Review-Journal that the matter would be handled in an “ordinary course,” as with Simpson’s other legal matters.
