Authorities from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office are currently probing an officer-involved shooting incident that took place at the Luxor Club Apartments, located near Bartram Park. Fortunately, no officers have been harmed in the situation.
Residents and commuters are being urged by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to steer clear of the Egrets Nest Drive vicinity as the investigation unfolds. The focal point of the investigation is the Luxor Club Apartments, situated close to Old St. Augustine Road and Bartram Park.
Emergency responders from the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department have confirmed that one individual was transported from the scene with life-threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reassured First Coast News that all officers involved in the incident are unharmed.

This appears to be the agency’s first officer-involved shooting of the year. There were 17 in 2025, according to JSO.
