In a chilling development, Ohio authorities have disclosed a video featuring a “person of interest” connected to the tragic slayings of a Columbus dentist and his wife on December 30. The Columbus Division of Police has shared this footage in hopes of shedding light on the mysterious events surrounding the deaths of Spencer and Monique Tepe.

The police suspect that the couple was fatally shot in the upper level of their residence between the early hours of 2 and 5 a.m. The surveillance video depicts an individual dressed in jeans and a dark hoodie wandering through an alley near the Tepe home during this critical timeframe.

Concerns arose on December 30 when Spencer Tepe, aged 37, failed to appear for work, prompting a call to the police. As reported by CrimeOnline, an officer visited the home around 9 a.m. but received no response and subsequently left the scene.

However, alarm bells continued to sound as police received additional calls around 10 a.m. One caller noted that he was near the residence and could hear children inside. Simultaneously, a concerned co-worker also contacted authorities, expressing her intent to check on the Tepes personally. Moments later, a friend of the family reported that he had visited the home after failing to reach Spencer by phone and could see his body inside.

Tragically, the Tepe’s two young children, both under the age of six, were found inside the home, unharmed but undoubtedly affected by the loss of their parents.

“Our entire lives are never going to be the same again,” Rob Misleh, Spencer Tepe’s brother-in-law, told WSYX. “The children are doing well. They’re young, so they’re not quite aware. They’re getting all the love and attention they possibly can at the moment. The support our family has received has been bigger than a village.”
