Daryl Sabara, the husband of singer Meghan Trainor, has expressed that he holds no hard feelings toward Ashley Tisdale, despite the controversy that erupted following Tisdale’s viral essay in The Cut.
In the essay, Tisdale criticized her former “toxic” mom group, which fans speculated included Trainor, along with celebrities Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore, drawing conclusions from previous photos.
However, when approached by TMZ in Los Angeles on Thursday, Sabara downplayed any tension, stating, “There’s no drama over here.”
When pressed about the media buzz, he simply replied, “Just trying to keep the kids happy, you know?”
Sabara further commented on Tisdale’s situation, saying, “I don’t really know what’s going on, I hope she’s okay though.”
The “Spy Kids” actor, 33, has been married to Trainor since 2018. They share two sons together: Riley, 4, and Barry, 2.
Trainor, 32, acknowledged the mom group drama on TikTok Thursday, but took a humorous approach.
The “All About That Bass” singer shared her surprised reaction while reading the drama online in a video she posted set to her 2025 track “Still Don’t Care.”
“Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama,” she wrote over the clip.
Tisdale, 40, made waves when she criticized her former mom group in her essay published last week.
The actress claimed she was excluded from hangouts from the group, which made her feel “not cool enough” and “lost” as to why she was being left out.
The mom of two said she eventually texted the group, “This is too high school for me and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”
Unlike Sabara, Duff’s husband, musician Matthew Koma, didn’t take the high road. He savagely hit back at Tisdale via an Instagram Story he posted Tuesday.
Koma posted a fake mocked-up cover of himself on the cover of The Cut, with a headline that read, “A mom group tell all through a father’s eyes: When You’re the Most Self-Obsessed Tone Deaf Person on Earth, Other Moms Tend to Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.”
He added in a sarcastic caption, “Read my new interview with @thecut.”
