Masika Kalysha took to social media platform X on Thursday to voice her frustrations concerning the father of her eldest child, Khari Barbie Maxwell.

In a series of tweets that rapidly gained attention, Masika Kalysha openly criticized Fetty Wap, expressing her disappointment shortly after his release from prison.

Her tweets began with a candid statement: “I hate believing in someone I know I shouldn’t trust, only for them to prove me right. Prove me WRONG for once! Damn!” She continued with a follow-up post questioning, “How do you get out and immediately become a disappointment?”

The intensity of her remarks increased with a subsequent tweet: “First day out and still acting like a coward. Just go back.”

Concluding her thread, Kalysha emphasized that her concerns are rooted in her children’s well-being, stating, “I don’t compromise when it comes to my kids, and I don’t care who disagrees. My children have endured enough! Let them down, and you’ll see a different side of me.”

Kalysha closed out the thread by making it clear that her frustration centers on her children, writing, “I don’t play about my babies and idgaf who don’t like it. My kids have been through enough! Let my babies down and you gonna see a difference side of me.”

Kalysha shares Khari Barbie Maxwell with Fetty Wap. She is also a mother to another daughter with the late Amari Champ.

Shortly after Kalysha’s tweets made waves online, Fetty Wap appeared on The Breakfast Club, where he was asked directly about the posts.

In response, the rapper said he had nothing negative to say about Kalysha and credited her for allowing him to maintain a relationship with their daughter while he was incarcerated.

“I appreciate her for making sure she making sure that my daughter knew that I love her. She didn’t she didn’t try to keep her away at this time. You know, during that time I was down. Uh, you know, whenever I call for her, she let me talk to her. You know what I mean? I don’t got nothing bad to say about her, so whatever.”

He also reiterated that he avoids social media and is focused on being present for his children.

“One thing I learned that the most important thing you could do for these kids is give them time. Like there’s nothing there’s nothing bigger than time and and and showing up,” he said.
