Sai De Silva recently opened up about her experiences with plastic surgery during an interactive “Ask Me a Question” session on her Instagram Story. On Monday, she addressed her followers’ inquiries about the procedures she has undergone and those she has chosen to forego.

While discussing details about the forthcoming 16th season of The Real Housewives of New York City, the 45-year-old reality star candidly shared her experience with a tummy tuck. She spoke about the challenges of the surgery and her decision to avoid breast augmentation.

In response to a fan’s question on January 5, asking whether she had undergone a tummy tuck, Sai confirmed, “Sure did!” She elaborated, explaining that after becoming a mother, she was left with loose skin and separated abdominal muscles. “It really bothered me,” she admitted, “so I found an amazing doctor in NYC and had it done. Worst pain of my life!”

“Did you have a tummy tuck done?” a fan asked on January 5.

“Sure did!” Sai replied. “After having kids I was left with loose skin and separated abs. It really bothered me so I found an amazing doctor in NYC and had it done. Worst pain of my life!”

In an accompanying link to her Substack account, Sai confessed to being “vain af” as she spoke of her post-childbirth body struggles.

“After having two kids, my stomach never bounced back. I had saggy, crepey skin and a delightful case of diastasis recti—my abs were separated, leaving me with a pooch that looked like early pregnancy, minus the glow. If I ate anything remotely solid, I’d bloat out and the pooch would be like, ‘Hi, I’m here to steal the spotlight,’” she wrote. “Once I knew I was done having kids, I started seeking out consultations to fix my broken stomach. Not because I wanted to be anyone else but because I desperately wanted to feel like myself again.”

Another person on Sai’s Instagram Story wondered, “Did you also do a breast aug??”

“No. These are all me,” Sai replied. “I wouldn’t mind a lift so I don’t have to wear a bra but I didn’t want the scar.”

As for RHONY season 16, Sai reacted to someone who requested “news” and told her not to say “announcement ‘soon.’”

“I know nothing,” she admitted.

At the end of last year, as Jenna Lyons, 57, confirmed her exit from the RHONY cast, a report from Bravo and Cocktails suggested that just three of the women of season 15, including Sai, Jessel Taank, 46, and Erin Lichy, 38, would be featured on season 16.

Meanwhile, during a panel at BravoCon, Andy Cohen, 57, said he and his fellow producers were “close” to figuring out the new season. He also said it wasn’t true that certain season 15 wives would be paired with the OGs.
