Buffalo Bills (+0.5) over JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
As the Buffalo Bills, led by Josh Allen, prepare to challenge the surging Jaguars on their turf, we’re looking at the weekend’s closest betting line.
In this matchup, I’m putting my faith in experience.
Although the Jaguars have become a popular dark horse in the AFC, I remain cautious about banking on Trevor Lawrence, who boasts only a single playoff victory, and their new head coach, Liam Coen.
Despite an unremarkable regular season, the Bills capped the year with significant away victories in Pittsburgh, New England, and the notoriously challenging Cleveland.
Allen, who has been visibly banged up for weeks, got some much-needed rest last week, playing just one snap in Week 18 against the Jets.Â
Look for their superstar quarterback to play Superman with some fresh legs.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (-4) over San Francisco 49ers
A week ago, the 49ers had a shot at a first-round bye with the potential to never leave the Bay Area through the Super Bowl. Â
It’s all gone wrong for them since then. They lost to the Seahawks, missed the NFC’s No. 1 seed, and suffered even more injuries to their already depleted roster.
Linebacker Tatum Bethune went down with a groin injury, and it appears dicey at best that the team will get star left tackle Trent Williams and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who both didn’t practice on Wednesday, back on Sunday.Â
Betting on the NFL?
It’s amazing this team has even gotten this far.
Traveling across the country isn’t going to help, and it will be tough to turn this game into a shootout against the Eagles’ defense.Â
San Francisco’s luck might run out on Sunday.
LAST WEEK: 1-1.
2025 SEASON: 15-21.
