Damson Idris and Lori Harvey made waves with what seemed to be a very public romantic display at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

A video posted on Instagram by People captured the 34-year-old British actor and the 28-year-old model allegedly holding hands as they strolled through the event, which took place at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

Despite their affectionate appearance, Damson and Lori had previously announced their breakup in November 2023, ending a year-long relationship.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for both Damson and Lori for an official comment regarding their current relationship status.

While neither has confirmed a reconciliation, the duo has been seen together recently, sparking speculation with their seemingly affectionate interactions.

In December, Damson and Idris were spotted holding hands in Miami, and prior to that they set reunion rumors flying after they showed off some steamy PDA while vacationing together in Mexico.

Damson, who is closer to the camera, leans his head down as he speaks to Lori in the bustling room, before the two disappear behind a tree.

Despite the claim in the video’s caption that the exes were holding hands, it’s unclear from the angle captured if Damson and Lori were touching each other at the time.

However, the two were clearly in a friendly mood based on their conversation, and it’s surprising to see them together at such a high-profile event even as they haven’t confirmed if they are back together.

Notably, another of Lori’s high-profile ex-boyfriends, Michael B. Jordan, was also at the Golden Globes.

His film Sinners had been nominated for seven Golden Globes, though it only took home two: the honors for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and a trophy for best score that went to composer Ludwig Göransson.

Michael had been nominated for best actor in a drama for his dual role as identical twins, but the honor went to Wagner Moura for the Brazilian political thriller The Secret Agent.

Lori had also previously dated Trey Songz and the Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay.

Back in September, Damson and Lori left fans wondering if they were back together when they were spotted frolicking in swimsuits on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Damson appeared unable to keep his hands off his bombshell ex, and he was pictured throwing an arm around her and touching her elbow as they strolled on the sand.

They were also seen looking cozy and relaxed as they relaxed on lounge chairs in the shade.

‘See, I gotta be real careful, cause Lori, boy, she be in my a**. I can’t make no mistakes,’ he said on an episode of the podcast The Pivot. 

Steve then made an apparent reference to the time he was seen hugging and shaking hands with Lori’s ex Michael at the 2023 NBA Abu Dhabi Games.

‘I saw one of her exes somewhere at a game somewhere, and I shook his hand. Boy, I can’t even touch his a** no more,’ remarked the Family Feud host.

‘I better not acknowledge him or look at him or nothing no more. So I’m off limits. If you an ex, your a** is my ex too. That’s the rule.’

To laughter from the hosts, Steve explained: ‘The rule in our house is any boy that’s an ex, he’s now my ex too. I must hate him like we was dating.’

Other than when he was with Lori, Damson has largely kept his dating life under wraps, although he has revealed he was once in a relationship for nearly a decade.

Without divulging the woman’s name, he cryptically discussed ‘leaving a nine-year relationship’ in an April 2022 conversation with the songstress Syd for Interview.

That March, Damson revealed he had ‘not yet’ been introduced to Steve, but added that he was a ‘big fan’ to Today show anchors Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hagar.

Both hosts showered praise on Steve, after which Jenna playfully added to Damson: ‘We’ll give you some advice off-camera.’ 

However, the last time they were seen together in public before their split was that September in Paris, and the next month Lori was solo at Kendall Jenner’s star-studded Halloween party. 

Conjecture started swirling that they had broken up, and they poured fuel on the fire by deleting all photos of each other from their respective Instagram pages.

About a week into November, they released a statement together insisting that they had decided on good terms to go their separate ways.

Lori is the daughter of Steve’s third wife Marjorie Bridges and an unknown biological father, though Steve adopted her after marrying her mother. 

Steve joked about Lori’s hotly publicized love life a couple of years ago, during an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s hit podcast Club Shay Shay. 

‘Lori grew up with four damn brothers, so we could project Lori at the house with her brothers. S*** done got outta hand now,’ he said.

‘You know, we can’t watch it now, ’cause I’d have been to saw it off a bunch of these little…,’ he trailed off, to gales of laughter from Shannon.
