TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A woman is expected to recover after being shot multiple times on Tuesday evening in Titusville, as reported by local law enforcement officials.
Police officers arrived at the scene on the 1100 block of Third Avenue around 6:30 p.m. They found the injured woman and administered first aid until the arrival of paramedics, according to a statement from the Titusville Police Department.
The department’s Criminal Investigations Section, along with forensic technicians, have been actively working on the case, the statement further revealed.
“This case is still under active investigation. We urge anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything pertaining to this incident to come forward,” stated Maj. Jeremy Gonzalez. “Even seemingly insignificant details could prove crucial in helping our detectives piece together the events. The Titusville Police Department is fully dedicated to conducting a comprehensive investigation to ensure justice for the victim.”
