A Turquoise Alert has been activated for a young woman from Arizona, 21-year-old Isabella Comas, who was absent from work on Tuesday morning.
As reported by ABC 15 Arizona, Comas was last observed in Avondale around 3 p.m. on Sunday. Concern arose when a friend reported her missing the next day, noting her absence at work and lack of communication.
Authorities attempted to trace Comas’ phone but were unsuccessful in finding her location, prompting the issuance of the alert on Tuesday evening.
According to AZ Family, Comas was last seen driving a red 2011 Hyundai Sonata with the Arizona license plate 2EA6LW. Her last known location was near 111th Avenue and Van Buren Street.
Comas is described as a Hispanic woman, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 110 pounds, with distinctive pink hair and brown eyes.
Comas was last seen in blue pants with a white line and a baggy navy-blue shirt. She was possibly wearing sandals.
A Turquoise Alert, also known as “Emily’s Law,” named after 14-year-old slain Indigenous girl, Emily Pike, assists authorities in locating missing Indigenous people and endangered people under age 65.
Anyone with information on Comas’ whereabouts should contact the Avondale Police Department at 623-333-7000. Anonymous tips may also be submitted to Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
