Woman found guilty of murdering sister, burying her in Carrollwood backyard

In Tampa, Florida, a jury has found a woman guilty of killing her sister, whose remains were discovered buried just two feet deep in the backyard of their Carrollwood residence in May 2021.

Debra Patton faced charges of second-degree murder and was swiftly convicted as her trial commenced in Hillsborough County this week, according to the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office.
