Nick Jonas has finally addressed the viral footage capturing his unexpected exit from the Golden Globes ceremony.
Nick Jonas, accompanied by his wife Priyanka Chopra, was among the distinguished guests at the 83rd Golden Globes. The star-studded event took place on January 11 at the Beverly Hilton, with comedian Nikki Glaser serving as the host for the evening.
The night was filled with unforgettable highlights, ranging from celebrities’ candid reactions to humorous roasts, to heartfelt acceptance speeches, and playful interactions among Hollywood’s elite. Adding to the night’s buzz is a video that has rapidly gained attention, featuring Jonas standing outside after making an early exit from the awards ceremony.
Now, fans are wondering why the singer left. Of course, there’s been plenty of speculation on social media about that, so Jonas decided to clear the air and shared his reason for getting up in the middle of the show and heading out.
When one user opined, “Social anxiety got the best of him,” the star chimed in himself.
“Yeah,” Jonas replied in a post on X while cleverly adding in the title of his new single “Gut Punch,” writing: “It hit me like a gut punch.”
Jonas recently spoke about that song, telling People,“I tend to be hypercritical of myself, not typically about my appearance or getting older, but I was wondering, ‘Am I doing everything to be the best version of myself? Am I a present and thoughtful husband? Am I a good father?’ As time goes by, the stress and complications of life will weigh on you. It’s important to remember there was once a version of you who was carefree and loved the world.”
