The cause of her playful ire? A perceived bias in the officiating of a recent football match involving Nigeria, which she claims favored the Ghanaian side.
In a video that quickly went viral, Teni humorously pointed fingers at Ghanaians, suggesting that the match official was, in her words, their “brother,” who leaned towards the opposing team. This lighthearted accusation highlights the friendly rivalry often seen between the two nations, especially in sports.

To cap off her spirited response, Teni made a tongue-in-cheek plea to Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to take action by “sending a fighter jet to Ghana.” She emphasized that the loss had taken a toll on her well-being, albeit in a playful manner, showcasing her ability to blend humor with national pride.
She went on to playfully appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking him to “send a fighter jet to Ghana,” while stressing that she had not been feeling well since the defeat.
“Ghanaians na Una make Nigeria lose this game yesterday. Ghanaians you will pay for this. How can you betray Nigerians this way. Baba Tinubu please help me send fighter jet to Ghana. I no dey feel well since yesterday, I no well,” she said in part.
