Further investigation and testing led to this week’s arrest and charges against Dhillon.
Dhillon was previously on pre-trial release in DuPage County for domestic battery, aggravated battery to a peace officer and assault charges, the DuPage County state’s attorney said.
“These allegations are simply unconscionable and will be met with the full force of the law. This is a heart-breaking case for all those involved, particularly the children,” DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin said.
Dhillon will be back in court next month.
