In the latest drama unfolding from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Sutton Stracke has responded to Jennifer Tilly’s remarks about a rift between her and Garcelle Beauvais. This tension became a focal point in the aftermath of Thursday night’s episode, where the cast was left reeling from the unexpected discord.

Sutton, 54, found herself on the receiving end of comments from Jennifer, 67, a long-time friend, who insinuated that Sutton had a tendency to create issues in her friendships. This jab came during a dinner scene where their co-stars were probing Sutton about her past with former assistant Avi Gabay. The moment left Sutton feeling hurt, prompting her to address the situation.

Reflecting on the incident, Jennifer shared her perspective during the January 15 episode of the “RHOBH: After Show.” She explained her intentions to diffuse the situation by offering some wise words or changing the subject. “They kept circling around and coming back… And I thought, this is going to look really stupid. Here I am, I’m sitting next to Sutton. I’m Sutton’s friend,” Jennifer recounted, illustrating her attempt to intervene. However, her efforts were met with resistance from Sutton.

Sutton, recalling her own reaction, simply responded, “[I] was just like ‘Stop.’” This brief but firm reply marked her stance in the ongoing saga, highlighting her discomfort with the entire exchange. As tensions simmer, it remains to be seen how this will affect the dynamics among the cast moving forward.

“[I] was just like ‘Stop,’” Sutton replied.

After being shut down by Sutton, Jennifer left the group and was eventually joined by Kyle Richards, 57.

“It hurt my feelings … I just was trying to put some oil on the water … Sutton, she’s got a lot going on. She’s got everybody coming after her. So I went outside, and I thought, ‘I’m just gonna stay here and sit here til I cool off,’ and I wasn’t cooling off, and here comes Kyle, and she sat down next to me, and she’s like, ‘Oh Jennifer, I know how you feel.’ So it was just sort of like, a sympathetic person, like saying, yes, whatever, and I was sort of venting,” she confessed.

“You said I always cause the problems and that this is why Garcelle didn’t want to be my friend,” Sutton fired back.

But Jennifer insisted she didn’t think that was “exactly what [she] was saying.”

“I didn’t feel like I said anything really harsh,” she stated. “I think I was saying something like, you know, sometimes I feel, like, not appreciated as a friend, and maybe that’s what Garcelle felt. But I can’t say what Garcelle felt. I don’t know her. I texted her. We never had a conversation or anything like that.”

According to Jennifer, she was regretful and apologetic, although her feelings were real.

“This is just me, what I was feeling … I felt like I was talking to Kyle, but I wasn’t bringing Garcelle into it. I was using it as an example. Like, Garcelle maybe felt like she was giving more and not getting as much back,” she reasoned as Sutton wondered why she’d think such a thing.

“Because she was saying it in St. Lucia,” Jennifer replied as Sutton suggested Garcelle, 59, did not.

“I don’t know why I would say that then … I don’t know how Garcelle came up … [But] I was upset,” she shared.

As for Sutton, she said that Jennifer’s statement about Garcelle was especially hurtful since Jennifer had witnessed how devastated she was when their friendship ended.

“You had seen, over those months, how deeply sad I was about losing my friendship with Garcelle. You saw it firsthand. And so, to say something [like], ‘And that’s why Garcelle doesn’t want to be friends with Sutton,’ I was like, ‘What?” she explained.

Still, Jennifer insisted that if she had made that exact comment, she didn’t do so “to be hurtful.”

Elsewhere on the RHOBH: After Show, as Dorit Kemsley, 49, suggested “Sutton Stracke” was “creeping back,” in a nod to Sutton’s name-change to “Sutton Brown,” Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 48, admitted that she was shocked to see Sutton and Jennifer at odds.

“Jennifer and Sutton are tight, and they’ve been friends for a long time, outside of this group. [But] Sutton was definitely in a corner, and I think she was striking out at anybody who said anything,” Boz noted.

“That’s why I wasn’t surprised: I have seen that girl so many times,” Dorit replied. “I’ve been on the other side of it. You know what surprises me? The soft touch.”

Kyle was also taken aback by the friction between the women.

“I was surprised to see that Jennifer had those thoughts, that she [would] verbalize them to me, [and] I was thinking, ‘Obviously, she’s gonna see this later, and this is not going to go over well,’” she recalled.

As for Amanda Frances, 40, she described Jennifer’s words as “harsh.”

“It sounds like maybe it had been building up for her,” she added.
