Folake Flakkyfaj, an actress and real estate mogul, has responded to a recent video from comedian Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess, where she expressed her desire to get married.

In her video, Princess addressed pastors such as Pastor Jerry Eze and Pastor Bolaji Idowu, voicing her frustration over remaining single. She mentioned that she had previously commented on their social media about her situation, only to be met with laughter. This time, Princess decided to be more direct, asking these pastors to help her find eligible men within their congregations.

Flakkyfaj took to her Facebook page to humorously respond, suggesting that Princess might have better luck finding a husband in Arab countries, as she believes Nigerian men are intimidated by her strong personality.

To elaborate on her point, Folake referenced the Baba Ijesha case and shared a Yoruba proverb. The saying conveys that someone who achieves something extraordinary may initially be praised, but over time, admiration can turn into fear. She likened it to a man who kills an elephant with just a cap; while he may be celebrated at first, people might later fear him, thinking if he can do that, he could also pose a threat to humans.

The post ignited mixed reactions among fans of both Princess and Flakkyfaj. Some reminded others of Baba Ijesha’s legal conviction, underscoring that Princess did not fabricate the case and that court evidence confirmed his guilt. Others sided with Flakkyfaj, suggesting that Princess’s approach was inappropriate.
