Maralee Nichols recently offered her followers a glimpse into her life with her son, whom she shares with NBA player Tristan Thompson.

The model took to Instagram to share a series of photographs featuring her four-year-old son, with the simple caption, “Weekend adventures.”

The images depicted Maralee and her son, Theo, enjoying time together at a zoo’s flamingo exhibit. One picture captured Theo strolling along a beach dressed in a light blue sweater and tan pants, while another showed him relaxing in bed with a mug.

Nichols has been notably private about Theo, rarely sharing images of him. Her previous Instagram post featuring her son dates back to February 2024, nearly a year ago, where she posted a series of photos of herself, followed by snaps of Theo picking fruit.

She accompanied that post with the word “Happy,” and a heart emoji.

Theo is the only child Maralee shares with Tristan. The former Cleveland Cavaliers player confirmed in an Instagram Story in 2022 that “paternity test results reveal that [he] fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.”

“I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son,” he continued. “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.” Since then, he has not publicly shared updates about Theo or posted about him on social media, unlike his other children, including Tatum and True, whom he shares with Khloe Kardashian.

Although it is unclear as to how much involvement Tristan has in Theo’s life, Maralee unquestionably wants to let fans know that her son is definitely “thriving” in spite of it all.
