In a disturbing incident that unfolded overnight in Sydney’s west, a man has suffered serious injuries following a shooting. The local police were alerted to the situation after multiple gunshots were reported at a residence on Northcott Road, Lalor Park.

The identity of the shooter remains unknown, and authorities believe that those responsible escaped the scene in a vehicle. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation as police work to piece together the events leading up to the attack.

A 46-year-old resident of the house was among the victims of the gunfire. Paramedics swiftly arrived at the scene, providing critical care before transporting him to the hospital for further treatment.

A 46-year-old man who lived at the house was shot and treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.

He is in a stable condition.

Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
