Ansel Elgort is celebrating an exciting new chapter as he steps into fatherhood.

The actor, best known for his role in “The Fault in Our Stars,” has quietly become a dad for the first time at the age of 31. This happy news was confirmed by a source to People magazine after Elgort was spotted out and about with a baby in his arms.

Currently, the baby’s name and gender remain a mystery, as no additional details have been shared with the public.

On January 13, Elgort was photographed in New York City, multitasking while running errands with the newborn snugly nestled in a baby carrier on his chest.

During this outing, the “Goldfinch” actor was dressed for the cold weather in a pair of black leather pants, matching boots tucked under his trousers, and a stylish blue and white knit sweater.

The baby braved the cold weather in a snuggly white sweater onesie.

He was joined by a mystery woman for the stroll. She wore a pair of denim jeans, a black shirt and a white cropped puffer coat.

The trio ended up taking the subway train together to meet up with two older people, who appeared to be his date’s parents.

A rep for Elgort did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Elgort was previously romantically linked to ballerina Violetta Komyshan, whom he dated for nearly 10 years until they called it quits in November 2022.

The former couple first met as students attending LaGuardia high school in New York City.

Rumors of Elgort and Komyshan’s breakup first surfaced after the actor was seen kissing a mystery woman in August 2022.
