Kathy Hilton recently shared an unexpectedly personal and characteristically Hollywood story: Wheel of Fortune star Vanna White was present in the delivery room when Hilton welcomed her son, Conrad, into the world.

This intriguing tidbit was revealed in an exclusive video clip given to People prior to the airing of last night’s episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. During the episode, host Ryan Seacrest encouraged Hilton to discuss her enduring friendship with White.

“Vanna is a close friend of mine,” Hilton remarked. “And you’ve been an old friend too!”

“Indeed, we go way back,” Seacrest replied. “Could you share some details about your relationship with Vanna?”

Hilton explained that her connection with White spans several decades, even including preparation for childbirth.

“Vanna and I go back forever and ever and ever. I remember when she first got pregnant and she was really nervous,” Hilton shares. “So I had the most beautiful birth tape that Rick had filmed of Paris.”

Hilton notes that the tape was filmed from behind her head and was done very “tastefully.”

“And so I said, you’re going to watch it with me. And we watched it — she said, ‘I feel so much better already,’” Hilton continues. “And in fact, I invited her to be in my birthing room at Cedar Sinai, so she came. And our son Conrad is here today. She was right there. Vanna was front and center.”

While Hilton’s delivery may have looked effortless from the outside, White was quick to point out that her own experience went a bit differently.

“Thank you for that. But my birth was different from your birth. You were there, you were all coiffed and beautiful and knocked out your fourth baby like that,” White says. “A month later, I had Nico – 23 hours of labor and a C-section. It was different than yours! But thank you.”

“We had so much fun,” Hilton replies.

Hilton’s episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune aired January 16 on ABC and also featured Rick Ross and Riki Lindhome. She’s currently appearing on Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Hilton shares Conrad—as well as Paris, Nicky, and Barron—with husband Rick Hilton. White is mom to son Nico and daughter Gigi.
